I am the girl sitting in the corner
I am the girl with tears on my face
I am the girl drowning in the waters
That nobody else can see.
I am the girl who refuses to believe and
I am the girl who wants to have faith
I am the girl who hopes that tomorrow
Will bring better days than today.
I am the girl all alone in the world
I am the girl who must hide it and be strong though
And I am the girl that people call invincible
I am the girl who wishes
Who wishes that they knew the truth.
I am the girl sitting in the corner
I am the girl with tears on my face
I am the girl who hopes that tomorrow
