i am not there to see it
I wish I could see you.
I wish you were here.
Today is your birthday,
And I won’t be there to see it.
You use to be here everyday,
And use to put a smile on my face.
I saw you as another grandma,
And now I miss your care.
Because of your stupid decision
I lost you in my life.
Because you betrayed my father,
You’re not in my life.
I use to see you everyday,
And now, I’m lucky if I heard your voice.
You haven’t called me in a week.
And I did my role.
It’s your birthday,
So I gave you a call.
I heard the sadness in our voices.
Both wishing you were here.
Every holiday is not same,
Without your love and care.
I hate how you made that decision.
And how gullible you are.
Why are you so stupid?
To lose your “son” like that.
Today is your birthday.
No one is there for you.
You’re lucky your kids are there,
Soon, they won’t be anymore.
I miss being with you,
And miss spending time with you.
I wish I was with you,
To see that fake smile on your face….. Once again.
