How I wish...
As toddlers of five, we entered the same school,
As toddlers of five, we entered the same class.
Busy in our own wonder world,
Towards each other we had not yet turned.
As kids of seven, we entered another same school,
As kids of seven, we entered the same class.
With unknown faces around,
Towards you that day, I turned round.
Months passed, years flew, and we grew,
The best of friends, we walked hand in hand,
Our friendship beautiful and grand.
We laughed together, we fought together,
But what remained was that we were together.
As preteens of twelve, we entered the same class,
Smiling as flowers with no idea of future hours.

I do not blame myself, but still I do.
Whether it was a misunderstanding,
Or the result of time passing,
I know not if it was you who was rude,
Or just my haste which brought the gloom.
But what I know is that today,
As teens of fifteen, we entered different classes,
Never to turn to give the other a glance.
The memories of the past seem just a trance.
I do not know whether my decision was right,
But sometimes I do wish we had never had that fight…

As for a suggestion, I think a more regular rhyme scheme would make the poem more entertaining and interesting to read.
Otherwise, it is a really good poem.
