June 2022 Poetry Contest: I Can’t Rhyme!
It’s “Time to Rhyme”
It’s my time to shine
But they will realize I can’t rhyme very fine
All those terrible poems are mine
I try my best on the poems my teacher will assign
However, it seems all the other students do divine
And my poetry skills only decline

I used to absolutely hate writing until I met this one teacher. She sparked my love for writing, but I still have a love/hate relationship with poems. I try my hardest though and I am seeing improvement! So I will keep writing poems even if I can’t do it very well.
