Storming Heart MAG
Midnight darkness, swallow me whole,
Cold winter air seeping into my soul,
Splotches of rain, cover my face,
Hiding the tears you'll soon erase.
I keep spinning in the thunderstorm,
Waiting for this heart to re-form,
Never wanting to hear your lies,
Standing in the lightning to cover up my cries.
I slowly stop my world from spinning,
My one wish: go back to the beginning,
As I turn and begin to walk away,
Never you shall my heart betray.
The thunder quiets, the lightning fades,
But the rain continuously cascades,
In my heart, I know it be true,
The pain you have caused will go away too.

So many memories, so little time.
This poem is a (typical) rhyming poem, but you have created it in such a way that it doesn't sound babyish or - frumpy. I admire it - make sure to get out all of your major feelings and memories written down. A poem, a description, a short story it doesn't matter - just as long as it is as great as it can be.
