Final Judgment

“A man is left behind peacefully, remembered by their family.”

A kind soul, finally put to rest, after months of struggling

with their body’s health, they’re finally put to rest.

Suddenly a warm and universally peaceful presence arrives

followed by an additional entity of a not-equal

but still holy presence.

A powerful orange aura surrounds and protects them

from the intrusion of dark spirits.

The saints pay their respects to the fallen human,

now awaiting their holy pronouncement.

One is sure that the soul shall rise into its heaven.

The other, is hesitant, claiming corruption in their heart.

The individual had an addiction to alcohol.

The less forgiving spirit saw memories, wrongful decisions,

ones that were hampered by his drink.

However, the kinder spirit argued a remorseful side

finding memories of the individual over the years

repairing his relationship with his friends and family.

Suddenly, the individual's chest begins to grow.

A small plant emerges from the being, growing fast.

The saints took this as an offering of the human,

Choosing to use his body to expand his earth.

The saints chose to let his soul truly rest on his home

The place where the spirit felt the most safest and true.
