Erosion or Atrophy?
i used to be the quick one
- and sharp as a tack
Odd, isn't it, how kids can slip
when no one bothers keeping track
Now i could write a novel
if i could move my hand
i can't move a lot of things
nor expect you to understand
i used to be the smart one
- tutoring above my class
Its odd how one can fall from grace
once they stop kissing a**
Now i can take the courses
- sometimes i barely pass
i'd do it with flying colors
but that seems too much to ask
i used to be the strong one
- savior to the world
Its odd how bitter becomes
the little martyr girl
i used to be the tough one
- i'd weather any storm
its quite odd how its shelter fails
to keep a young heart warm
Now i can speak of valiance
- but don't take it to heart
when i'm faced with a challenge
my resolve just falls apart
i used to be dutiful
- the mom my parents lack
Its odd how skipping years ahead
has kept me a decade back
Now i can be your favorite f***
and i'd accept your ring
i could swear to any vow
but it wouldn't mean anything
i used to be the sweet one
the pristine innocent
Odd isn't it, how compliments
- they make you feel so full of s***...

But yeah, you have talent my friend.
can relate to everything in this...
