“It’s Five O'Clock Somewhere”
Last night I dreamt of sipping piña coladas on the beach in Cancun, Mexico.
The hot sun beaming down on me, wearing only a swimsuit and my Birkenstocks.
I lay down for a nap next to my husband Ty, but woke up to see a Mexican worker starring at me with a strawberry and chocolate crepe in hand.
He says “Hola do you want a piña colada”, I agree.
My husband and I decided to take a swim.
We jump right in to go for a dip in the Gulf of Mexico.
“Omg a starfish”, Ty had found the most beautiful periwinkle starfish ever.
After we get out we go back to my hotel room to chill for a bit.
We decided to go to dinner.
I hear a voice “Hey y’all” I again look up, but this time it was someone else, Jimmy Buffett now asking if I want anything to drink.
I say I am good but he is persistent saying “it's five o’clock somewhere”.
I agree and he skedaddles getting me another piña colada.
I look left and see Jimmy Buffett standing next to me with a piña colada in hand.
He says “I love you” in Spanish and my husband is mad so he decides to get a piña colada too.
After my husband is content again we decide to dance it out and keep on living our life.
Never turning back and sipping my piña coladas saying “it’s five o’clock somewhere”.
