Dad
I still hear the yelling
The screaming
Caused by a thousand lies
I remember the crying
The feeling
Of always seeing dark skies
I remember the smell of hatred under my nose
The love did not last any way the wind blows
I tasted pain that came from a powerful word
Where heart ache and sadness was all that was heard
I have seen it haunt three people forever
Those people are me, my mom, and my brother
No one can understand the pain that was had
From a man my brother and I used to call
DAD
