When I Miss You

Summer,
It’s suppose to be fun,
But it’s not fun when I miss you.
School’s out,
High school is coming,
But nothing is exciting when I miss you.
Hot humid days,
Cool cloudy nights,
Nothing is nice when I miss you.
Laying around,
Thinking about you,
Getting up is not important when I miss you.
Swimming in the pool,
Being in the sun,
Nothing is fun when I miss you.
Thinking about high school,
And how I won’t see you,
There is nothing to look forward to when I miss you.
Summer is long,
Long and boring,
Nothing to do when I miss you.
