Picture
Painted inside of a frame
Is the only picture of you that I have
Could’ve been a party because you seem so happy
The frame is titled to the right slightly, but no one seems to mind.
Underneath the memories I look to see my reflection from the glass in your eyes.
Racking my brain for an idea of how you felt in that moment
Even though the world was a mess you were joyful and I hope that when I’m your age I feel the same way.
