Eyes
Eyes
My girlfriend and I have the same color eyes, yet different at the same time. Mine are blue, but not ocean blue. They are blue like a cloudy sky, a cloudy sky that would be seen on a snow-covered day. A colder color of blue. However, this is not a cold-cruel color, my eyes are a cold-caring color of blue. Caring like cuddles on a cloudy day.
But her eyes, her eyes are so beautifully complex. Complex in the many different colors spiraling through them. Her eyes smile with vivacious colors. Her blue eyes, blue like mine, yet different. They are blue like the sky on a sunny day, or like the bright blue that makes up the ocean. Just like the ocean, her eyes are mixed with colors of green, green like the forest. Shards of brown surround her pupils with the smell of trees in nature. The sweet song of birds chirping matches the sound of her beautiful eyes. Her beautiful eyes draw up every emotion and then assure me that I am in the right place. Sophie’s eyes are safe.
