Have you ever been on a roller coaster?
One that goes fast like the speed of light
One that goes slow like the dullness of the night

Im down
Im spinning all around
Im on a high im on a low
What is next…?
I don’t know!

Life is like a roller coaster ride
You are up high in the sky
It is a rush
Excitement through my mind
I turn the light off so I am immune the bad
Im now in a bright world
The sun is beside me
It is my friend
It vanishes
To tell me there is a storm ahead
Im feeling great im feeling fine
All the darkness is left behind

Wait
I close my eyes
There is no difference
The sun is gone
A dark grey cloud is on me now
Putting the world on my shoulders
Heavy, heavy boulders
Filled with
Stress, its eating me away
Every second every day
Im low by the ground
Life is slow and dull now
The sugar rush is over im ready to crash

You’re sitting here
If you’re saying what do I mean
Let me compare this experience to
A baseball game
My mood is great
Im ready to celebrate
Boom!
I go for a spin
One bad pitch
One mistake
No second chances
We loose my ride is over

How can you be so happy?
But than so sad
We live on a roller coaster
We don’t feel it physically
We feel it in us
Emotionally
We cant see the spins the bumps
The 80 feet drops
But we can for sure
Feel them

From being on this roller coaster so many times
You learn
When its finally over
You’re always fine
I guess that is life
You never really know if
You are going for a spin
Or a gentle smooth ride
The lesson is
After a death, tragedy, a crisis
You’re going to feel
Weak!!! , weak!! , week! Week
It numbs your sole of the pain
Your body is in udder shock
Helpless!!! Helpless!! Helpless! Helpless

So life is a roller coaster
What are you going to do
Are you going to be safe and
Miss the up and downs
