The flittering and the fluttering

of the pittering quick footsteps

Lets me know that I'm still

running right towards you.

The pumping and the pounding

of my thumping sorrowed heart

Lets me know that I'm still

hanging on to you.

The ticking and the tocking

of the clicking ancient clock

Lets me know that you're still

making me insane.

The sighing and the laughing

of the lying pretty girl

Lets me know that you'll never

love me the same.

I know this poem doesn't make sense with the clock telling her that she still loves him and such, but i still like it because of the rhyming scheme, with the exception of the first stanza, because the first stanza doesn't have the same amount of syllables, but oh well. COMMENTS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME, AND I LOVE CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM!!!!!!! and i'd love it if you could rate it too!! thanks :)
