A whirl of silk
Costumes flashing
Feet barely touching the floor:
Is this flying?
Smiles or Tears
Their faces reveal,
Emotion,
While their arms tell a story.
Forget your fears
As the dreams flow
The Dance creating harmony.
The music narrates,
The dance illustrates,
A story,
A life,
A portrayal of Soul.
The Dance ends.
It goes dark
