If I Were A Bird

If I were a bird, I would fly high,
farther than anyone could try.
I would cross the horizon and reach the sun,
wouldn't that be a lot of fun?
I'd chirp my heart out;
and drink from the little water spout.
I'd blissfully dance in the rain;
while forgetting all my pain.
I'd build a nest on the evergreen tree;
and fly across the giant sea.
I would flap my wings till I get tired,
and would never leave the scenery unadimired.
