Stripping her clothes
Donning his cape
Measure the waist
Flex the flappers.
Time, fuzzy.
Fear, unaware.
Dip your toe into the plastic,
careful of the numbers. Who bite.
Climb upon the railing,
quickly now, before the parents. Come look.
Step,
Leap.
Crashing to the ground.
Crashing to the ground.
So light,
to fly.
So much,
to fall.
