SUNDAY MORNING.
SUNDAY MORNING WAS THE REST DAY OF THE WEEK.
ALL WERE IN HOMES BUSY STREET WERE
TO LATE TO OPEN SHOPS AND OFF NIGHT LAMPS.
I WAS SEEING THE DAY STARTED LATE,
BIRDS WHILE CHIRPING WERE RESTING,
PEOPLE WERE WALKING CAMLY.
AND THEN MY EYES SIGHTED SCENE OF AN OLD LADY WITH OLD TORN CLOTHES
BEGGING FOR A PENNY
BUT TO HER NO ONE WERE FREE,
ALL MADE THEMSELVES BUSY.
SHE PULLED SOMEONES HAND AND TOOK GODS NAMES TO GRANT ALL GOOD TO THEM.
SHE HAD THIRST FOR FOOD AND MONEY,
BUT NO ONE HAD SINGLE PENNY TO GIVE HER.
NO ONE SEEMS FOR HER,
NO ONE SEEMS WITH HER.
SEEING HER MISERINGS AND HER WANDERINGS
I RAN DOWN ON THE STREET TO GIVE HER PENNY
BUT ALAS SHE WAS TOO FAR FROM ME
THAT ONLY MY DROPLETS FROM MT EYES
COULD ROLL OVER CHEEKS.
FAR FROM ME
