your smile is a light
in the darkness of night
your laugh is the sound of
a thousand golden bells
your eyes are as endless
as the pain i feel in my
chest when i am away from you.
your voice, the sound
of water rolling across velvet
your embrace that of an angel
i realize there that
for all my faults
you, nearly perfect
still love me.
no matter what
happens i will stand
by your side.
my shining star
my lonesome dove
my only love...
