Oxford Drivestretched for miles,
An assembly line of red-brick bungalows with ascatter of brown,
Black top driveways decorated with pink and bluechalk,
Freckle-faced, pot-bellied or twig-like girls played hopscotchto the top of sky blue,
Girls danced, the musty sweatygarage,
"Good Ship Lollipop,"
Rainbow swirled suckersthat lodged in their mouths,
Outside Care Bears and StrawberryShortcake bikes raced till the orange rays beat down
from thesky,
Later, Ghost in the Graveyard creeps through the turquoise
