Sorrow
Have I ever felt
True Sorrow?
Pain that lances
deep through me,
leaving stinging splinters.
I have felt that.
Tears that do not stop
even after my eyes are
bone dry
blood red.
I have sobbed uncontrollably.
Waves and
waves
of fatigue-stained sadness.
I have drowned in that.
Pain that is always
there, no matter
what,
even if
I smile
at those around me.
I have endured that.
Yes,
I have felt
Sorrow
true Sorrow.
I have not felt
all the Sorrows
that there are,
but I have felt
enough.
