Love and Mud
You find love in mud,
When you are young,
Making fortresses of damp dirt,
To guard the princess,
Awaiting her prince,
From the monstrous dinosaur,
But what do you do?
When you built a prison around your heart,
And don’t try to find a way out,
Knowing the gruesome fiend,
Will get to you if you do,
Exposing yourself to the danger love possesses,
But holding back seems to be lonely and sad,
If only it could be easier,
If only you could make all the right moves,
To reach your prince,
And over come every fear,
Never once failing at this childish game,
Called LOVE…
