I can honestly say that I don’t know
I shouldn’t because you don’t care and
nothing ever fazes you
But I do
And there’s no long explanation,
no scientific theory
There’s really only one reason why
And I’m sure it will leave you with questions
But the reason why my chest aches
And my eyes leak
Why my world spins
And my speech is nonsense
The reason why my everything is
the opposite of what it should be
Is you
