Enchanted Adventure

Have you ever walked through a forest so thick it’s always dark?
The Enchanted Forest is one such as this, filled to the brim with pixie
Folk, filling the shadows with their known sound from their lair in the forest
And in the straggling beams of sunlight, rests the majestic unicorn
It is by these creatures, the forest is enchanted
All are magic even to the last bush and tree

The fairies, living in their hives, sun themselves from the top of a tree
Always fleeing from goblins and the dark
Nearby, is a village named Maloo, not far from the forest enchanted
The children from the village often come to hunt the pixie
But never finding traces of the mysterious unicorn
Which is the most reclusive dweller of the Enchanted forest

And one brave young son, ventured into the forest
Hunting for the most enchanted tree
He fell captive to goblins, the only witness the unicorn
To their cave they took him, though he feared not the dark
Deep in the cave’s recesses, echoed the song of a pixie
Immediately, the young lad fell enchanted

His parents felt fate was for him to die in the forest enchanted
The noble unicorn was pushed by some divine force to save the boy from the forest
He called to all, and out poured the pixie
Followed closely by the fairies from the tree
They rose to the challenge, against the evil dark
Lead by the most valiant of creatures, the unicorn

And it was by the bravery of the unicorn
That the dark fell to the light in the forest enchanted
And the pixie folk banned the goblins of the dark
From their peaceful, magic home, the Enchanted forest
And the heroic deed done, the fairies returned to the tree
To celebrate their victory with the recently freed pixie

It was soon discovered to be a long lost pixie
The lad, now free, rode back to the village on the back of the unicorn
And all the pixie folk wandered to the edge of the forest to watch from a tree
As the victorious pair left the shade of the forest enchanted
The young lad’s parents watched in awe as the beast reentered the forest
From then on until eternity, the Enchanted Forest is free from dark

The boy was forever blessed with pixie
Dust from his friends in the Enchanted forest
He still dreams of his jaunts in the magical copse of trees.

I really admire your imagination and creativity. Fantasy is really your thing. Very well written and good job! The two of you are very talented.

Now, this is enchanting :) I felt like I was in the middle of a fairy tale! I can tell that you would be great at writing fantasies... maybe you should try it one day. I would really appreciate it if you rated/commented my work... I'd love your opinion :]
