coquina shells sprawled about the shore
containing the scraps of you and me,
shattered and jaundiced with age.
they have to sit to keep from drifting
into the foaming tethers of the sea.

but
now

you plunge, with little more than the faith
that this abyss will reveal its roots,
and in your steps i'm sinking
yet i always thought i would float.
a cool repose deluges my soul

and
now

a purpose is restored.

This was so beautifully worded. Absolutely wonderful. You are an incredible and talented poet. Don't stop writing!

WOW!

i really love this poem!!!

it's so short, but packed full with meaning!

i wish i could write like that--my poems get pretty long in order for me to get my point across.

:) AMAZING WORK!!!

I can't remember it clearly, but it went something like this:

"The past is the past, the future is the furture. But now, now is like a gift, which is why it is called present."

I like it! :)

Hey, I'm Kyle. You commented on my poem, "Everything Man." Thanks, by the way. It's pretty flattering getting a comment like that from a writer as good as you. This poem was pretty deep. Good job! I like how that last poem lets the reader fill in the blanks. Keep writing and thanks again!

Love it! You use really good language, I loved the last line, and it's full of hidden meaning. Amazing!
