People get your hopes up high
Just to turn back and crush them down
They tell you lies and make you

When the truth comes out
Your whole body gets weak
Your eyes begins to water
Your dreams, wishes, hopes, DESTROYED.

"Hee Hee". They laugh. "It's just A joke".
The pain you feel is a joke
The agony it brings is a joke
The tears you cried was a joke
The anger enraged was a joke
Ha! Really?

It's a relief to me when
Someone pulls the weight off my
Shoulders
But to turn around and stab me in
The heart,
(Because there it hurts worse)
Is just a play of my emotions.
