The Fire
The Fire burns in the souls of the defeated
And the homes of the unconquerable
It torments the minds of the remorseful
And initiates revenge
But those who side-stepped the fire
And lost all dear to them,
Are the one’s
Who suffer the most
I was not smothered by the Fire
Of my fathers
But rather I have risen from the ashes
To rebuild what was lost so far away
For too long have we have mourned
Today, we must take a plunge into the sea of uncertainty
And do what must be done
We have survived throughout centuries
But today,
We do not merely survive
We live
We live for those who we lost
We live for those who fought so we could
We live for the unwanted, the obscure, the despised and the hated
We live for the wounded, the dead and the gone
We live for those who so badly wanted too
They lived because they had to
I live because I can
