The Pen
I am the pride of the wise, the shame of the poor.
Though much of my fame is now faded glory,
My legacy remains etched in the hearts of men.
Through me, countless have been inspired:
I have oft been a herald of greatness,
Translating the deepest emotions from one mind to the next.
I have brought an end to many altercations, battles, wars,
For I am mightier even than the sword!
I may play only a small role in the history of the world,
But without me there would be no history.
