The Broken Pieces
Your hurt
Hopeless
Homeless
And lost
He said he loved you
But here you are
Dumpsville
Population? You
It's painful
To see him out with all those others
Blond, buxom, bimbos.
So you sit on a street corner
Just wishing,
With all your heart
That he'd change his mind.
Call you up,
Beg for forgiveness.
But deep down?
You know he won't
Your heart is broken
And no one can put it back together
Because all you need is him
If he has the glue?
You have the broken pieces
You had a premonition about this...
And your fears?
Have been confirmed.
All you need is him
If he has the glue?
You have to broken pieces
So you sit on a street corner
Hurt,
Sad,
Hopeless,
And homeless.
Just hoping he'll give you a call
When you know deep down?
He won't
And you? Are alone
And that's all there is too it.
