Two Boys Sleeping In The Guest Room MAG
Twin boys
on a hot summer night.
with their shirtless skinny bodies.
tumble to the mattress
after jumping on the bed for hours
and fall asleep,
but not in their own room.
They sleep to the sound of the crickets chirping,
and the smell of fresh clean air.
The draped curtains and floral print
can't be a kid's room,
even with the mobile of airplanes over their beds.
But, their similar shoes in different colors
placed so carefully next to the bed are
just waiting for the boys
to wake
in the morning.
