forever's not forever
only a brief time
forever's not forever
you weren't forever mine
if forever was forever
you'd still be here
because you said forever
forever's a lie my dear
forever; a week, day, or year
your forever is my fear
forever in my mind
you'll be with me forever
i'm so glad forever is never.

There's something a little innocent about expectancies of forever. It's like promising disappointment. I like this:)

i love this poem.i'mcurrently in a relationship and we have said "forever yours" so many times.. its been three month. i know it probably wont be forever but i like to think so. my grandma was in a relationship with her high school sweetheart and it lasted forever. he died and she still loves him. thats what forever means to me.

rather inspiring, truly good, yes forever is a bit much,but there will always be a forever in mind. so i totally agree with you writng!!!:)

i thought it was a good poem. i felt that nothing last forever. I think you might have said forever a little to much. but over all it was good.
