A brightly coloured rainbow,
Covers the sky,
Some pieces of the rainbow,
Have fallen trying to fly.

Some are faded or crumpled,
All their glory is days past,
They lie like a blanket which is rumpled,
More will join them, none the last.

i loved this! especially the imagery and i think the rainbow is a metaphor for leaves during fall:)
