Normal Girl MAG
normal girl
she lived in a world
where they all knew her name
and never a lonely moment was spent
for a fear of them forgetting
all alone was where she found herself
walking along a busy street
searching for herself between the cracks in the sidewalk
for she lost it somewhere, somehow
there is a moment that is to be found
when her followers will take the lead
and give her a broom to sweep up
at the back of their procession
and in those last moments she will break free
to rise above them all
to play her beautiful hymn to all the world
her audition to begin again
