Untitled MAG
You asked me how I'm doing now
And I've thought of a reply.
I don't start shaking everywhere
Whenever you walk by.
I don't look forward to seeing you
Every hour of the day.
You're no longer all I think about
Much to your dismay.
I don't go running to the phone
Praying that it's you.
I don't stay home hoping you'll stop by
Now that we are through.
I realize you have lots of faults
I never saw before.
I thought the world revolved around you
But I don't think that way anymore.
I don't get weak when you're around
My heart no longer races.
Instead of just being with you
I'd rather be
A million other places.
Putting the pieces back together
Was not an easy thing to do.
But I have concluded one thing -
I'm definitely over you.
So you asked me how I'm doing now
And my answer is "just fine."
My heart has mended, I don't love you.
Why'd you ask me?
You must be blind.
