Dandelions MAG
Dandelions
Roaring Metal Monsters,
snorting and barking,
raping the gentle Earth.
Huge metal claws
ripping supple curves.
Look,
at the graceful gentility
of a field.
Communities of dandelions,
delicate explosions of color.
Winds sweep over the field,
the tall grass moves in waves,
not unlike an ocean.
Communities of dandelions
bend their slender green
stems to kiss the velvety
petals of a neighbor.
Metal Monsters
ripping their way through the field,
heading toward my precious dandelions.
BARKING, SNORTING, GRINDING, ROARING
Listen!
dandelions whimper so softly
