Paper Balloons
Paper balloons
and weightless suns
are what my heart is made of.
Clouds of silver
and stars of gold
float above our heads.
Creamy
yet dreamy
I must be sleeping.
A delicate picnic
of perfection in food.
I must be floating.
You smile
I dream
we laugh in unison.
All worries seem to fade.
Jumping on beds,
dancing in meadows.
Fairy dust,
made of dreams,
grace's your face.
Content here,
we're happy.
But we forgot one thing.
Our hearts are made,
of paper balloons.
