Once And For All
Waves slap up against the well worn sand,
And rain hits the ground with a slap.
We cry, our faith deflated.
We smile, our happiness completed.
We smile, we hurt, we die, we live,
We are humans, living as the world spins slowly.
We cope with ourselves, cope with everything.
And hope that maybe we'll make it through,
And sometimes we do.
Time is moving constantly, never stopping.
And there we are running to keep up with it,
Until we die.
And one day, time will stop and the sun will shine.
And the waves will be calm,
And the rain will stop,
And we will smile, our happiness completed.
Once and for all.
