Imperfectness
I will never be perfect, I will never be you. I cannot and will not do the things you do. I won't let you change me into something so fake. I am my own person and you can't have your way.
Why can't you accept me for who I am now? Can't I be me and still be your half decent child? But, it has to be your way, as long as I'm under your roof, I have nothing to say. I will follow your rules and admit you're always right. You can b**** at me because, you know I won't put up a fight.
Hey, guys guess what! I'll do what you say now. Just remember when I leave this prison called a home, I will keep my vow. To stay true to myself, to never again shed a tear, for my miserable childhood we all knew wasn't fair.
I may not be perfect, I may not be you. But, I have a heart, you don't. That proves I AM better than you.
