Tired of the pretense we call life
The lies of who we're supposed to be,
Fearless and careless.
Who says everyone can be so strong.
Tears fall day to day in silence
But she carries herself so well
And no one would guess
The self-claimed apathy is so far from true.
And another lies to protect her,
To hide her from the pain
But everyone can see the fear she carries.
He’s not well, and she can't accept that.
It’s bottled up inside.
