Nothing is What it Seems
The doves begin to bleed,
The white pearls turn to burgundy.
The mirrow reflects the pain,
and my haunting memories.
The velvet turns to ivy,
and the crystals to stone.
Nothing is what it seems,
Even my faith begins to go.
But if the embers still glow,
Maybe there is still hope.
