Sadness
sadness
sadness is a form of love
'though it only seems like hate
towards no one but yourself
a mood to contemplate
when someone very dear to you
like family or a friend
is harmed in any way
your broken heart, no one can mend
but then when a stranger
gets hurt or is in pain
feeling a bit of sadness
is the only thing humane
your heart is never broken
you never shed a tear
you only say your sorry
to show that you care
if it was someone that you loved
in the same situation
your feelings would be stronger
sadness and love, a combination
sadness is a form of love
two emotions fuse
creating a strong and powerful bond
one that no one can lose
