A Cheerleading Competiton
Hundreds of girls running around a hotel,
a couple of boys here and there.
Perky and energetic, or nervous and exhausted,
they are ready to compete, or waiting for results.
Flashy uniforms and sparkles all around,
people warming up and stretching on the ground.
Loud music and lively people, team after team takes the floor
hearing loud screams and roars.
Twenty-five cheerleaders on the floor,
hoping that their routine hits and is not a bore.
Doing chants and giving hugs, the curtain pulls back,
and your wishing luck.
The music starts, and precise and perfect they try to hit every mark.
The competition is long and tough, but you can tell every person out there
loves it so much.
