Ballad of the Arsonist
There’s a fire in my heart burning for revenge
It feels as if I’m on bravery binge.
Kindled with rage and lit with desire, seething satisfaction emits from this fire.
Flames sweep like a carpet across the floor; out the window and through the door.
I peer on as the house; my heart is cooking
Something is special about seeing; looking.
I’m always there at the scene of the crime. They’ll never catch me, I won’t do time.
So remember, no one is safe when I’m alone, not in your car, at your job, or in your home.
