The Small Things “R” MAG
What would we do without the “R”?
New Englanders would wash,
Instead of warsh.
Pirates would say “Qqqq,”
Instead of “Rrrr.”
Friends would be Fiends,
But Enemies would have no Revenge.
And badliest of all,
'Cause worst has an “r,”
We would have Poety,
Instead of Poetry.

At the beginning of this project, I got very excited about putting my creativity to the test. After spending many hours creating the cover, I finally laid the last piece of packaging tape over the top as lamination. And what did I realize moments after? My “Poetry” book was missing an “r”. This was the motivation “The Small Things ‘R’”. In the handout describing this assignment, it says, “Embrace each decision you make”. I have learned from this project how to not only embrace my decisions, but also my mistakes.
