Among the Hidden

This dark scary place
Seeing my families stricken face.
Our only source of light,
Is now a shadow in my sight
Just because of what I believe in,
Is now taken as a sin.
Wating for hours at a time,
It feels as though I did a crime.
My father says that I am strong,
But what makes me sad is that he is wrong.
For now I will sit and wait,
But I now know the feeling of hate.
