1,000 Guns
I walked out into
the world fully armed.
My bulletproof vest was
strapped on tight--
nothing could get in.
My body was completely
covered in armor.
Secret weapons beneath
my clothing protected me,
cutting down any sort of
pain or problem that
stood in my way.
Now it's different.
I have been stripped of my armor,
my bulletproof vest removed.
My secret weapons?
Not so secret anymore.
All have been stolen.
Now I sit.
Crouched down feeling scared,
realizing how vulnerable I am.
1,000 guns pointed
at my heart.
