Public Letter
To whom it may concern,
I don't sleep much at night.
Thoughts of you keep budding
Into visions of plain sight.
To whom it may concern,
I cried myself to sleep.
And with agony and stifled screams
I let the pain sink in too deep.
To whom it may concern,
You still walk in my dreams.
I still think about the past
And all that seemed.
To whom it may concern,
I don't want your curse anymore.
I don't want to see you here
I don't want to know the score.
To whom it may concern,
I think I might be insane.
The more I think about it
The less I want to gain.
To whom it may concern,
I too have feelings.
I too have the desire
For miracles and healing.
But I can't move on
If you can't feel the burn.
I just I'd thought say it
To whom it may concern.
