A Poem about Myself
This is a poem about myself
And the way that I have always felt
The fear and depression within my soul
Will soon be turned from light to coal
The people who yell “oh you’re gay!”
Is that the fee that I must pay?
For a voice so high I can not control
Don’t they know that’s not my role?
The hole that they have drilled in my heart
It’s almost ready to spilt apart
The fear and depression within my soul
Has now been turned from light to coal
