Peace?
A mortar holds a brick in place
Glue that fills the empty space
Harmony is the thing that binds
The piece that holds together minds
In wavered way we wait
All without a tempered gait
We walk ‘round in our own shoes
Harping on an endless blues
If we aim only to “save face”
We keep a heinous, deadly pace
In daily walk, we are but blind
To certain truth that we must find
It is all a matter just of fate
To must step in time, another’s rate
