My Brotha
As life has gone flyin by,
We never get to say goodbye,
To hopes and dreams and childhood,
And how we think the world just should,
Apart we are but no mistake,
Two different paths don't have to take
We'll always be there you and I,
Together we can touch the sky.
We've seen much trouble and much fun,
From a meeting comes a parting, like the moon and the sun,
Always rising always setting,
Yet our hearts keep on regreting.
Just because things aren't the same,
Don't mean it'll all be lame,
And I love you like a brotha,
A brotha from anotha motha,
...Peace.
